Paws Welcome: The Best Dog Friendly Off-Grid Cabins

Some adventures are better with muddy paws by your side. We’ve rounded up our best dog-friendly off-grid cabins – wild-luxury stays where your four-legged friend is not just welcome, but expected. No strict rules, lots of local trails, and the kind of freedom both humans and hounds dream of.

These off-grid cabins aren’t about compromise. They’re about shared experience – morning walks in the countryside, evenings curled by the fire, and sleeping under the same roof (or even in the same bed if you wish).

Ready to let the dog lead the way?

Here’s what else to know before your four-legged friend checks in:

  • Bring their bed – we find most dog owners prefer to use their own.
  • We’ll provide a down bowl, some treats, poo bags, and a towel.
  • Please keep dogs off the furniture and beds if they’re muddy or wet.
  • Clean up after them and be respectful of nearby wildlife and farm animals.
  • There’s a flat £35 pet fee – whether you’re bringing one dog or the whole gang. Just select the pet option at checkout.

All our shacks are pet-friendly, but the ones listed above are fully enclosed.
For more wild stays that welcome dogs but aren’t fully fenced, you can explore those here.
