Finding Lynx
You'll find Lynx tucked into the edge of ancient woodland on working farmland. Parking is situated off the road, and then it's an easy 200m walk to the cabin.
Lynx is on a working farm - very occasionally you'll see the local farmer and his sheep.
Car:

The nearest station: Criccieth - it's right in the town, so it's just a short taxi ride (a few minutes) from there.
When you arrive, parking is situated off the road and then its a short walk to the shack.

Lynx sits just outside Criccieth, a short drive from the town - close enough for an easy trip in, but quiet and tucked away in the Gwynedd countryside.

- Criccieth Castle – 13th-century ruin perched on a headland right above the town, with sweeping views over Cardigan Bay and inland to Snowdonia.
- Criccieth Beach & Marine Beach – two beaches either side of the castle, great for a walk or rock pooling.
- Wales Coast Path – runs straight through town; walk it towards Porthmadog for fish and chips by the harbour.
- Criccieth Lifeboat Station – small volunteer-run station, worth a look if you're down by the beach.

Is there a toilet and shower?
Every shack has an eco-composting toilet and a hot shower. We also provide eco-friendly toiletries, luxury towels, hand towels, and shower mats.
Is Lynx pet friendly?
All our shacks are pet-friendly, and we charge a flat £35 fee - whether you're bringing one dog or the whole gang. Just select the pet option at checkout. We include a welcome pack for pooches, including a water bowl, towel, poop bags and treats.
At Lynx:
Fencing - Lynx is enclosed for peace of mind, and also within an enclosed field.
Livestock - There are often sheep in the field with the shack, so dogs will need to be on a lead while outside the cabin area itself.

Is there firewood included?
Yes, we supply a big bag of kindling and a big bag of logs. There is plenty for your stay. However, if you think you will be spending a lot of time by the fire pit, then you can purchase unlimited firewood at check-out for £20.

- No. 46 Coffee Shop – locally loved for scones and cake, on the High Street.
- Tir a Môr – cosy café/bistro, good for a hearty Welsh breakfast or Sunday lunch.
- Cadwaladers – the original ice cream parlour, a Criccieth institution since 1927.
- Blue China Tea Rooms – sea-view café right on the front, popular for afternoon tea.
- Dylan's – smart beachside restaurant with a seafood-focused menu, in the striking Art Deco Morannedd building.
- Castle Fish & Chip Shop / Allports – classic chippy, best eaten on the esplanade looking at the castle.
